Beaux Arts to feature 14 flower girls, pages - Jacksonville Journal-Courier

The Art Association of Jacksonville’s 64th annual Beaux Arts Ball fundraiser, “Run for the Roses,” will have 14 children participating July 31 as flower girls and pages.

• Ava Kay Bergschneider, daughter of Joe Bergschneider and Sarah Bergschneider, both of Jacksonville;

• Jillian Noel Dunseth, daughter of Michael and Kristin Dunseth of Jacksonville;

• Menai Fay Elaine Evans, daughter of Ms. Devon Carpenter of Jacksonville;

• Ruthie Elaine Schumacher, daughter of Kyle and Sara Schumacher of Jacksonville;

• Estelle Marie Van Aken, daughter of Ryan and Sarah Van Aken of Jacksonville;

• Ty Allen Bumgarner, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford L. Bumgarner of Jacksonville;

• Hylan DeGroot, son of Jared and Tacy DeGroot of Jacksonville;

• Avi Roscoe Dunseth, son of Drew and Swati Dunseth of University City, Missouri;

• Axel Henderson Eckhouse, son of Noah and Vanessa Eckhouse of Jacksonville;

• Henry William Garver, son of Luke and Natalie Garver of Jacksonville;

• Charles Benton Guidish, son of Nick and Allison Guidish of Jacksonville;

• Landon David Hackett, son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel W. Hackett of Jacksonville;

• Max Fanning Nelson, son of Francis and Audra Nelson of Jacksonville; and

• Otto Spradlin Zang, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jonathon C. Zang of Jacksonville.

A champagne reception will precede the coronation of the king and queen from 5 to 6:30 p.m. July 31 at the David Strawn Gallery. Anyone attending the ball also is invited to the reception.

Patron and general tickets will be available at Annie Merner Chapel on the former MacMurray College campus prior to the Beaux Arts Ball, which will be at 7 p.m. July 31. Immediately following the coronation, entertainment by Fun DMC and hors d’oeuvres will continue until 11 p.m. at neighboring McClelland Hall.

Patron tickets are $40 and include admission to the coronation, reception and dance, while general tickets are $10 and include admission to the coronation and reception.

An interpreter will be available at the coronation for the hearing impaired and handicap seating will be available. For more information, call the Strawn gallery at 217-243-9390.
