As flowers become more popular with young Chinese consumers, flower vending machines are blossoming in malls, residential areas and subway stations, according to a China Daily report.
One company, Megarden, a flower vending machine retailer, has deployed machines nationwide, including locations in Beijing and Guangzhou.
Individual compartments in the machine offers a different bouquet of flowers costing around 10 yuan ($1.54).
The buyer scans a QR code on the machine, to complete the transaction using a smartphone.
The company typically refills the machines every other day.
