There’s a flower shop inside this new cafe that fills a niche in Lewisville’s Castle Hills - The Dallas Morning News

Sam Jung owns three Starwood Cafe locations in Frisco and McKinney, but wanted to do something different for his new restaurant in Lewisville’s Castle Hills neighborhood.

Hills Cafe, with its white-washed interior and shiplap vibes, has been brightening up the neighborhood, serving breakfast and lunch, since late December.

“It’s a better atmosphere,” Jung said. “More modern and a nice place to relax.”

From its modern-meets-rustic dining room, Jung and chef Tony Rosa (who also helms the Starwood kitchens) serve up classic breakfast and lunch items like eggs benedict, huevos rancheros, breakfast power bowls, plus chicken and waffles and BLT sandwiches.

A departure from his other restaurants is that Jung operates Hills Flowers, a flower shop, at the same location. Customers can order flowers online or through Facebook, he said, and pick up at the Castle Hills store.

The business owner hopes to build upon the new brand, as it takes root in the neighborhood.

“I would like to open a few more this year or next, not far away,” he said, adding that he’s eyeing Carrollton, The Colony or elsewhere in Lewisville as potential locations.

Hills Cafe is located at 2520 King Arthur Blvd. #109 in Lewisville.
