Household Goods announced that Copper Penny Flowers will host a virtual flower-arranging class as a fundraiser to support Household Goods at 4 p.m. March 27.
The cost is a $30 donation to Household Goods and Copper Penny Flowers’ owner Jennifer Eaton will demonstrate how to arrange and secure a springy hand-tied bouquet, ready for gifting or to drop right into a vase. Class participants will work with fresh flowers such as roses, clematis, daffodils, parrot tulips, ranunculus and sweet peas. Flowers can either be purchased from Copper Penny Flowers at a cost of $60, in addition to $30 registration, or participants can plan to watch and learn.
A recording of the workshop will be available, so by registering viewers can still take advantage of the demonstration.
“What a great way to welcome spring with this flower arranging event,” said Sharon Martens, executive director of Household Goods. “We are very grateful to Jennifer for offering her skills and knowledge to create beautiful bouquets, while helping Household Goods to provide individuals and families with furniture and household items they need to make a home.” Registration closes March 25.
