It looks like there will be a lancero vitola coming to the Warped’s Flor del Valle Sky Flower line, at least judging by the company’s recent social media posts.
Kyle Gellis declined to discuss the cigar, telling halfwheel that there is no information that he is ready to release at this time. However, he did indicate in a social media post that the cigar would measure 7 inches long and have a 40 ring gauge.
The Sky Flower is an offshoot of the regular Flor del Valle line, maintaining the all-Nicaraguan blend but adding medio tiempo leaf, which is a higher priming of tobacco not found on every plant and known for adding some distinctive strength and flavor. It debuted in 2018 as a 5 5/8 x 48 corona, and then added a 5 1/2 x 52 robusto extra as an exclusive for Corona Cigar Co. in Orlando, Fla. in 2019.
Flor Del Valle Sky Flower has been made at Tabacos Valle de Jalapa S.A. (TABSA) in Estelí, Nicaragua.
