LAPEER TWP. — The Lapeer County 4-H program has created a new hands-on kit for local youth ages 5-19 to enjoy — a flower bulb kit. Participants who use the kits may plant bulbs now and watch them bloom in the spring.
One per family with youth in the household while supplies of the bulb kits last. This kit is free and membership in 4-H is not required, however membership to 4-H is free this year and is good through Aug. 31, 2021, so organizers encourage youth to join to take part in 4-H programming, and scholarship opportunities.
Included in the kits:
• Instructions
• 10 daffodil bulbs
• 20 grape hyacinth bulbs
• Instruction sheets and other education materials that will cover:
